People Watching

I found a video on youtube that caught my attention. A couple in a sushi bar in Tokyo decided to put their video camera on the sushi conveyor belt and see what happens. The people that were close to the couple knew what was happening so acted strangely when it came around, but soon enough people no longer noticed the camera. It turned into a very interesting people watching experiment. It made it easy to observe people without feeling like I am being creepy or stalkerish. It was also really interesting to see the change of pace from the main part of the restaurant to the kitchen. The main part of the restaurant was very calm and soothing while the kitchen was all hustle and bustle. So I wonder if anyone else is interested in people watching, and I also wonder if this sneaky camera technique could be a unique way in order for advertising agencies to learn more about their consumers. The link is below...let me know what you think!
